We collect and temporarily store certain technical information about our app's usage for provide a better experience through the app and bug fixes. This information includes:

  • What pages do you visit during your journey in the app;
  • The type of device (e.g. Android, iOS) used to access our app;
  • What is your activity when using the app's features, such as: “Download”, “preview”, and “save” media content;
  • Crash and error logs from the application;
  • Anonymous summary of demographic information about our visitors such as gender, age range, and areas of interest for adults over the age of 18. This information is generally used to help us make our application more useful and performant for you.With this data we learn about the number of users and the types of technology they use, also we do not identify any person with these kind of data, it's only for development purpose.

Personal Information

We do not collect nor store any kind of personal information such as your name, date of birth, address, email, etc.

Providing Information to Third Parties

We may redirect to resources outside of the Astronomy app in the “share content feature”. Third parties may collect information on visitors who share its content on their Facebook pages, Instagram feeds, or other social media/networking sites. Astronomy is not responsible for how these third-party sites/apps use this information for their own business purposes, including marketing the information to other parties. Users are encouraged to read the privacy policies of all third-party sites/apps used to share Astronomy content.

Interaction with Children

TheChildren's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)governs information gathering online from or about children under the age of 13. Verifiable consent from a child's parent or guardian is required before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from a child under the age of 13. We do not collect any information about you or your child, other than that detailed in the previous section.
